Frankfurt am Main/Berlin, 20.10.2021: The climate tech startup Global Changer receives a six-figure investment from the Commerzbank Group’s early-stage investor main incubator. In addition, WestTech Ventures, Ragnarson, Mathias Kutzner (serial entrepreneur) and Finn Wentzler (entrepreneur and investor), have also invested in the startup.

Global Changer was founded by the entrepreneurs Tobias Martetschlaeger (CEO), Ellen Patzschke (CPO) and Dennis Schwibinger (CCO) in 2020 with the aim of changing the status quo and helping both SMEs and corporations to reduce their CO2e emissions. Global Changer has developed three different solutions – the focus lies on the Climate Control Center, which is a strategy and management tool for the decarbonisation process of companies.

Through an automatic calculation, the Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) is integrated and based on a large measures database, a roadmap for CO2e reduction leading to Net-zero is created. With an ROI calculation and the budgeting of these measures, it makes it easy for companies to decide in favour of sustainable solutions. In addition, the Climate Action Hub offers a knowledge platform for relevant climate and sustainability topics. The third solution is an Engage App to get employees involved. In this app, employees can capture, analyse and, above all, reduce their individual CO2e emissions.
